2013
January: racewear.co.uk supplies the BBC with clothing for a new prime-time TV programme. We can't say what until it's aired, but we had to work "outside the box". The wardrobe department was happy to let us select and suggest suitable clothing, and was thrilled with our choices!

2012
February: racewear.co.uk celebrates its 30th birthday with a party at the Race Retro show, Coventry

2011
June: After 8 years at Griffin Farm, racewear.co.uk has ougrown the premises and moves to Clackerbrook Farm in Bromham. Just up the road, and has the advantage of being even closer to home!
 
2010
July: The Racewear Roadshow rolls into your town! On the back of our local successes, we are inviting motor sport fans to earn money from their passion. Simply become a Racewear Roadshow operator, and you can start earning money from going to motor sport events. No experience necessary, just a nose for sales and the determination to earn extra money while enjoying yourself. Contact us for more information.
 
June: We've exciting plans for growth and are in early stages of negotiation with investors who want to share the success story. March: Racewear Ltd is chosen as one of Business Link South West's 100 Business Challengers, highlighting our success in taking on large brands in the e-commerce marketplace. Read the story

Business Link South West add their support to our plans with a substantial grant towards our new web site

One of the world's biggest safety equipment manufacturers - Uvex - teams up with racewear.co.uk to launch its prestigious range of quality racewear and helmets in the UK
 
2004
Company founder Jim Tyler dies and Ann retires ending nearly 20 years of race suit manufacture. Sarah & Max Tyler take over running the business, and develop racewear.co.uk as a fully-fledged on-line retailer
 
1997
First racewear web site launched, making us one of the early adopters of on-line sales techniques
 
1995
We start a relationship with a German wholesaler that continues today, importing motor sport clothing for the club racer - check out the Speed Racewear range now!
 
1994
A new diversification as we supply specialist powerboat racing clothing to European drivers. Our distributor is a world and European champion, a great endorsement for our products and quality!
 
1987
We link up with a customer who does the same as us in the world of free-fall parachuting. An interesting alliance!
 
1985
Ann Tyler draws on her background in the clothing trade to start making our own brand, RG Racewear
 
1982
Royal George Racing Services is founded to serve the needs of the west country's club competitors. Originally a home-based part-time business for Jim and Ann Tyler, the emphasis is very much "from competitors, for competitors" - an ethos that remains today
